Mozart on Sunday morning

Conductor Richard Egarr, who has appeared with the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra on several occasions, leads this Sunday morning concert. He guides the orchestra through Mozart’s dramatic Prague Symphony , which enjoyed great success following the premiere of Le nozze di Figaro . You will also encounter music by Emilie Mayer and Marie Jaëll, two female Romantic composers celebrated in their lifetimes. The Antwerp Symphony Orchestra revives both their names and their music. To cap the programme, orchestra principal cellist Marc Vossen shines in a solo performance.
